I'm lucky to be able to photograph the Tait family every year, and as the twins get older, the more interested they are in taking photos. It gets easier to be able to pose them and get some amazing family shots. I loved our setting for photos this year, we started off at their cabin in Star Lake and then took a walk down the dirt road for a couple different looks. We had a lot of fun and fantastic weather, no complaints here other than that sun being so bright!
I hope you love your photos as much as I did, Tait family! Thanks for having me along again this year!

California - Wine Country and Muir Woods
I am well overdue to posting on my blog - I have been taking photos throughout the past year, I promise you that, I'm just not that great at posting photos to my blog.
A couple months ago I took a trip with a few very good friends of mine - we went to California and enjoyed Napa Valley and it's amazing wines and the sights of San Francisco. Below I am sharing just a sampling of photos of Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley and Muir Woods (found on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge). I will share more photos throughout the next couple of weeks of the rest of the trip.
Napa Valley we experienced an amazing winery, with quite the drive to get to, Pride Mountain Vineyards was spectacular in every way. The views from the tasting rooms were spectacular, and quite breathtaking. The wine was delicious, I even bought a bottle bring home and it's now just waiting for a special occasion for me to open and enjoy a glass or two. We took a tour through the tunnels where they store the barrels of wine, I'm sharing a couple photos from that tour.
Sonoma Valley we experienced 2 wineries worth mentioning, VJB Vineyards and Cellars had a great tasting, where we enjoyed lunch in their courtyard. We then ventured over to Viansa Winery where we had another great tasting with the help of Kelly. Unfortunately we got there near closing so it was a little rushed, we didn't get to experience the grounds for what they're worth.
Muir Woods was next up once we got to the big city of San Francisco. Muir Woods brings massive redwood trees that are absolutely stunning. I knew the trees would be huge, but I didn't know they would be that big. We had a wonderful morning hiking through the woods before it got busy (if you go to visit, I suggest going early in the morning to avoid extra traffic and be able to find parking).
Hope you enjoy my photos as much as I loved being there and taking them. California is truly an amazing place to visit and I hope to get back there sooner than later.
