Colleen + Matt get married - Alberta style!

Colleen and I met at photography school along with Kara Wieler. We all formed an amazing friendship and have all kept in touch over the years. When Colleen announced her engagement, Kara and I knew we had to get out to Alberta for the big day, and when Colleen asked us to photograph her wedding, we of course could not say no!

The day was incredibly special. It was like no other. Colleen may have wished it went a little different as she was woken up during the night with the flu. Once her visit to the hair salon was complete, off to the hospital she went for an IV. She was feeling much better for a while, and got to the church and her and Matt shared their vows and exchanged rings. 

Once Colleen was feeling better and up for some photos, we made the most of the little time we had and snapped away, you wouldn't think she had been sick all day, she certainly didn't look it!

Colleen and Matt - you two make an amazing couple, and we were so happy to have shared the day with you, even if it wasn't the best day of your life. What matters is the marriage that comes after, and I know you two will only make the best memories going forward. I wish you nothing but happiness and love for many years to come. Love you both! 

And to Kara - my fellow photographer - it was so fun shooting with you again, you do amazing work and I hope one day we can shoot together again!

Baby A's first photoshoot

Friends Scott and Lesia welcomed their second child into the world recently and I had the privilege of photographing Baby A for the first time. She was a rockstar, didn't fuss what-so-ever. She seemed to be very interested in  my camera and stayed awake for the whole photo session. Here's a few of my favorite photos from the day!

Tait Family Photos!

I had a great time getting to shoot the Tait family once again. The twins are growing up so fast, they have become these adorable little people! Here's a few of my favorite photos from their shoot!

Baby A and her family

Fall is a great time to get those much needed and wanted family photos done. My longest and oldest friend Kristin asked me to be their photographer and capture some great moments. Their baby girl, Ayla was a girl of many facial expressions which made for some funny moments and captured some great smiles!
